The Cross pen and pencil set comes in a case and was made in the United States. On each at the top it says something I cannot distinguish then 14K gold filled. These were only used a few times. The inside of the case is slightly soiled. The Gloria Vanderbilt watch and clock are quartz with Japan movement. Neither the watch nor the clock have been used or worn. Simply sat in its box. Heavy and ornate, this stand is marked underside of the top with MOD. BREVETTATO. The top measures about 16 across. It stands about 30 tall and weighs about 21 pounds. Some spots of oxidation on the feet and 2 of the 3 pieces that cover up the legs near the top are loose. Please see photos. Category A pick up time.

Once used by Navajo Medicine Men in healing ceremonies, now they are works of art. Signed on the back, name looks like Leonard Yazzie and title of the piece is Rainbow Yei. Yei is a holy figure in the Navajo culture, a supernatural being, spirit, or god. It measures about 18.5 by 18.5 . Please see photos. Category B pick up time.

The larger, oval mirror measures about 28 by 20 . The smaller mirror is octagonal shaped and measures about 15 by 15 . Please see photos. Category C pick up time.

Set of 80 pieces with smooth edge, gold trim, and white cupids in playful poses on blue panels. Produced in England from 1970 to 1993. Now discontinued, pieces can be found online. Online values for these pieces exceed $1800.00 in total. Includes oval vegetable serving bowl, coffee pot with lid, creamer, sugar bowl with lid, 15 dinner plates, 13 luncheon plates, 15 smaller side plates, plus 16 cups and saucers. Category A pick up time.

This parka comes with a letter of authenticity and photos verifying that it was made in September and October of 1957 by the local Inuit women of Port Harrison, Quebec. The outer shell is navy with yellow and red striping on the cuffs and bottom. The inner part is white with yellow and blue striping on the cuffs and bottom. Both the sleeves and the chest measure about 25 and the length is about 35 . The coat shows some wear. Please see photos. Category A pick up time.

The Ionic Air Purifier has a germicidal light. Used only a couple of times. Untested. The storage box is fire resistant and comes with 2 keys. It measures about 14.5 by 10 . Category C pick up time.

The artist is Normee Ekoomiak. The tag on this says that it measures about 20.25 by 30 with a price tag of $450. Normee's name is stitched into the lower left corner of the hanging. He is a well known Canadian writer and artist. Found sleeping under a bridge and near death, Dr. Jeff Turnbull found him and saved his life. After living in a hospice centre for years, he stabilized and both his health and his creativity returned. His life is an interesting read. This work of his is in very good condition. There is a letter and photos stating the authenticity of this parka. It was made in September and October of 1957 by the local Inuit women in Port Harrison, Quebec. Caroline P who was reputed to be the best seamstress in the community did the decorative embroidery. The outer shell is a light blue and shows signs of wear. It has a zippered front. Inside, the decorative embroidery is still bright and vibrant. Please see photos. The sleeves and chest measure about 21 and the length is about 30 . Category A pick up time.

The artist is Gloria Inugaq. The tag is still on the wall hanging and states that it measures 17.25 by 16.26 with a price on the tag of $395. Gloria is a listed Canadian artist. Condition is very good. Please see photos. Category A pick up time.

This lot includes 68 pieces of Oxford Hall Stainless Japan flatware plus the McGraw Tarnish Proof Silverware Chest. The flatware has handles that look like bamboo. Set includes 22 hors d'oeuver forks, 1.5 salt and pepper set, pie server, large serving spoon, meat fork, gravy ladle, 8 forks about 7.5 long, 8 knives about 8.75 long, 8 dessert or salad forks about 6.25 long, 8 teaspoons about 6.5 long, and 8 tablespoons about 7.75 long. Note one tablespoon shows noticeable marks or pitting. The McGraw chest measures about 15 by 11 by 5.5 with a drawer in the front. There are some marks and scratches on the chest, but the interior is in good shape. The McGraw Tarnish Proof Silverware Chest label is inside. Please see photos. Category A pick up time.

This pair of blue vases is stamped HUT JAKUB TASICE 1796 on the bottom of each one. These are a deep blue colour with hand painted pink and white flowers with gold trim. They measure about 9.5 tall. Jakub Glasswork was founded in 1796 in Tasice. Production was terminated there in 2002. Currently the factory operates as a glass making museum. It is a National Cultural Heritage Building of the Czech Republic. Category A pick up time.

Eleven deep blue goblets about 5.25 tall and about 4 in diameter. The top of each is very thin rimmed. There is no visible maker's mark. Category A pick up time.

This is the first issue, plate one in the historic Egypt: Splendours of an Ancient World series. Hand painted with 22 karat gold and with a slightly raised high relief over black coloured porcelain. This plate is hand numbered and bordered in gold under the hallmark of Osiris Porcelain. Closed July 31, 1994. Comes complete in box with COA and other paperwork. Category A pick up time.

Artist Gordon H. Cook has skillfully sculpted a manatee and her baby as they swim through the water. The artist's attention to detail captures the floating seaweed as it drapes the side of the mother and baby and floats from the mother's mouth as well. It is signed COOK near the mother's tail on the opposite side of the baby. The piece measures about 7.5 by about 3 by about 5 tall. It is smooth, shiny, and heavy for its size. The label on the bottom says G.H. Cook Company, Fine Art Sculptures. Category A pick up time.

Form shows a man and a woman in a loving embrace. There are no visible maker's marks. Heavy for its size, the piece stands about 14.5 tall with a square base 3.25 by 3.25 . Not sure of the material used to make it. There are a couple of wear marks on it. Please see photos. Category A pick up time.

Set of 53 pieces, light brown with petite white and yellow flowers. Produced between 1977 and 1983. Now discontinued, replacement pieces can be found online. Using these prices as a guide, this set totals in excess of $500.00. Set includes oval platter, oval vegetable bowl, 8 small plates, 8 medium plates, 6 dinner plates, creamer, sugar bowl with lid, stick handle gravy boat, 7 cereal bowls, set of salt and pepper, 8 saucers, and 8 flat based mugs. This set contains 47 pieces with most of them marked DEP AB Italy with the large serving spoon marked 800. The set includes a large serving spoon, cake server, 12 forks, 9 knives, 12 small spoons, and 12 larger spoons. All are working. There is a new in the box twin pack of ceiling lights that have a pewter finish with frosted glass. These measure about 11 by 4.5 . There is a pair of goose neck lamps, one red and one black. Each is about 16 tall. There is a pair of silver metal lamps about 17 tall. The woven wooden like hanging light has metal grapes and leaves on it. Its diameter is about 19 . The final one is a decorative three flower tri-light. Category C pick up time.

Culver was founded in Brooklyn, New York in 1939. It features 22 karat gold decoration and was originally sold in high end department stores. Culver glass from the 1940's and 1950's was signed Culver in script. All 10 pieces are signed Culver in script. Eight glasses appear to be in the Festival Gold Wheat pattern and the other 2 glasses have a line design. Please see photos. Category A pick up time.

This came from the same place as the parkas. The sash or belt measures about 64 without the fringe or tassels part and about 104 in total. Its width is about 2 . Its colours are still bright and vibrant. Also included is a tie with balls which shows considerable wear. Please see photos. Category A pick up time.

Once a gift, showing appreciation to Conrad Black for his support of John McDermott's career, December 1993. This represents the Canadian Recording Industry Association Certified Platinum for record sales over 100,000 units of McDermott's Danny Boy. Matted and framed, it measures about 19 by 14.75 . A portfolio of 8 paintings by Grandma Moses reproduced in full colour with an appreciation by John Canaday. There is also a brief biography of Grandma Moses inside the portfolio. This is an Art in America Publication boxed, hard cover portfolio. Each measures about 15 by 20.5 . Her work can be found in over 25 museums around the world. First book is signed by Liona Boyd. Second is sheet music autographed by lyricist Dave Oppenheim. The sheet music is copyrighted 1930. Third is from a Charley Pride concert and signed by his bandmates, Dave and Sugar, but not by Charley Pride. Wear is as expected with age. No COA. Category C pick up time.

Includes a wide range of artists like Richard Harris, Dawn, Freda Payne, Hollies, Lou Christie, Kenny Rogers and the First Edition, Herman's Hermits, Dusty Springfield, Elton John, Carpenters, Joe Cocker, Beatles, Three Dog Night, Moody Blues, Bread, Desmond Dekker and the Aces, Tom T. Hall, Queen, The Bells, Carly Simon, Helen Reddy, and so much more. Record box is worn and has no top. Category B pick up time.

One is the Illustrated London News from February, 1952. It features the lying in state and funeral of King George VI. The second one also The Illustrated London News from May 30, 1953 features Queen Elizabeth II. Note the green tape on the spine. This one is in the poorest condition of the four. The other two are Life Magazines 1963 John F. Kennedy's Memorial Edition and the other from December 6, 1963 featuring the Kennedy family waiting to join the funeral procession to the Capitol. Aside from the historical moments, each magazine has a wealth of early advertising. Wear as expected with age. Please see photos. Category B pick up time.

First is a sealed, American nickel dated 1912, in a case with details about the sinking of the Titanic. It was not on the Titanic. The back of the coin shows the V as was used at that time. There is a crack in the back of the case but not broken through. Second coin celebrates Dawson City, Yukon. It is a commemorative medallion from the Alberta Mint. Please see photos. This is a hard cover collection of the published works of Charles Dana Gibson. These were published in 1906 in New York. Each book measures about 11.5 by 17.5 . Gibson was an illustrator who sold his sketches to various periodicals in Manhattan in the 1890's. He is perhaps best known for his early representation of the beautiful and independent women of America. There are some worn and yellowed pages. The covers are loose both front and back. Volume I has two back pages detached but present. Please see photos. Given that the books are over 110 years old, wear is expected. Category B pick up time.

There are 10 demitasse spoons marked Rogers IS with the anchor symbol before and after Rogers. Each measures about 4.25 and are in the Wild Rose pattern. There are 2 more demitasse spoons marked Heirloom Sterling, Damask Rose pattern. There are also 2 spoons each in a box and marked sterling that celebrate the American bi-centennial and Philadelphia. Finally, there are 2 more spoons, one with Silver Japan on it and the other Murray Silver Co. Some wear is evident. Please see photos. Category C pick up time.

Rubber Maid storage container on 2 wheels. Has 3 of its 4 fasteners, 1 is lost. Clean inside. It wheels easily. Has a handle at both ends. Scratches on the lid from use. Holds 170 litres of things and measures about 42 by 21 by 21 . Note name on the sides in black marker as it was used several summers to transport things to a sports camp. Please see photos. New, in plastic wrap is a 4 photo frame measuring about 22 by 7.5 . The second piece is a Welcome sign with playful cherubs seen amongst the letters of the word Welcome. It measures about 31 by 8 . These were given as gifts from Japan from visiting international students. They were given as protectors that would keep my home safe from bad spirits and bring good luck so I was told. These also spent years on a shelf. Please see photo. Category C pick up time.

Both books have gold embossed covers with gilt edges. One is a collection of The Poetical Works of Whittier with Life, Notes and the other is The Poetical Works of Mrs. Hemans with Life, Notes. Both were members of the Lansdowne Poets group. A picture of each is inside the cover separated from the rest of the pages by a sheet of rice paper. Under Whittier's picture it reads Thine truly John G. Whittier. Being over 120 years old, there is some wear. Inside cover of the Hemans' book is loose and worn. Please see photos. First is a 1936, 689 pages of the book Gone With the Wind. There is no dust jacket. The cover is soiled and pages are yellowing. The spine is in tact. The second book is The Lives of John Lennon by Albert Goldman. It is a first edition published by Wm Morrow and Company of New York. It is 719 pages with some pictures. There is no dust jacket. The first piece is signed by Michaela Davidson. It is called Misty and depicts the elusive mist as it floats magically through the lakes and hills of the West Coast of Canada. Davidson is an artist who resides on Vancouver Island. The piece measures about 12 by 15 . The second piece is signed by Mia Lane. It is a 1994 picture of ducks. It measures about 18 by 16 . There is a Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition featuring Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. Also there is a single video of The Phantom Menace. All are untested and have sat on a shelf for years. The 2 posters measure about 22.5 by 34.5 and include Return of the Jedi and The Empire Strikes Back. Both are labelled Collector's Edition and printed in Canada. There are pin holes in the corners where they once were on the wall. There are 2 small tears on the top corners of 1 of the posters. Black framed piece measures about 12 by 14.5 . It is an original drawing by Oven B. Carter, Architect, Cairo. It depicts Beyn-El-Kasreyn with the Minaret of the Tomb of Sultan Kalaoon. There is a small mark on the frame lower left corner. The second piece with a golden coloured frame measures about 10.5 by 12.5 . Sister is a verse by Bee Ewing with the flowers depicted titled Image of Love by Jan Anderson. Category B pick up time.

The tall narrow vase is from Portugal and it stands about 31 tall. There is a sticker on it stating that it is handmade in Portugal. The second piece I believe is called a Karaff. It is heavy for its size and about 8 tall. There is no visible maker's mark on it. Please see photos. Category C pick up time.

The largest book is called Our Canada by Peter N. Casey. Original price on the dust jacket is $75. It is about 12 by 15 and full of pictures of Canada on some 400 pages. There is a crease on the last page. The second book is called The Black Canadians and it is about 8.5 by 11 and has 82 pages. Its dust jacket is soiled. The third book is called Canada With Love and it celebrates Canada's 115 birthday. It is written in English and French. It also has an insert acknowledging this book and occasion by Governor General Ed Schreyer. Its dust jacket is also soiled. Finally, there is a 3 volume set of the Canadian Encyclopedia. This is a set of 3 framed prints. The largest measures about 10 by 12 and the two smaller ones measure about 11 by 9 . The back of one has the date on it from October 1928. These were from the estate of someone I admired years ago. Note that the paper backs are torn as auctioneers often do, looking for hidden treasures that are not there. The frames look hand crafted.
