Signed D. Burton in the LR. About 16.5 x 23.5 inches with frame. Frames has some scratches and wear.

Very hard to find these old children's books with their dust jackets. This 1934 1st edition of Carolyn Keene's, The Clue of the Broken Lock, is in good condition. The jacket has some wear, rubbing and small tears, particularly at the corners and along the spine as can be seen in the photos, but it is mostly intact with excellent colour. The book itself is clean. There is a set of initials, S.F. on the front piece.

About 10.5 by 13 inches with gallery frame.

Traces of original paint, Japanese Carving, Seated Buddha in Pagoda. Wear as expected for age (see photos for more detail). Purchased in Japan from a dealer in Japanese antiques. Pagoda about 8.5 inches tall, seated figure about 6 inches tall.

About 10.5 by 8.75 inches including frame. Inscribed verso as shown. Very detailed drawing of a seated monk in a habit. Elcock was particularly noted for his very fine drawings, one of which hangs in the National Portrait Gallery in London.

Venus and the Black Domino by Art Nouveau artist, Aubrey Beardsley. About 12 by 15 inches each.

With Beaver and Maple Leaf graphics. A rare tin in a very hard to find size. Made by Royal Canadian Tobacco Co. Toronto Canada. Tin has screw top. About 4 1/2" in height with a 4 1/2" diameter. Overall condition is good for age. Small dents, wear, rust, as appropriate. See photos for more information.

Vibrant pink satin vintage bed cover. Possibly wool filled. About 60 by 80 inches, heavy. In amazingly good condition for age!

Total size about 17 x 14 inches with frame. Four small paintings each depicting a different sea and mountain scene in B.C. Signed and inscribed faintly in pencil.

Originally intended as a very high end ashtray but never used as such. Interesting nautical tall sailing ship etching on one side. About 6 inches diameter and about 4 inches high.

Circa late 19th century. Depicts possible sea turtles which are an important part of ritual life throughout Polynesia. About 49 by 43.5 inches with frame. Note wear and stains to cloth from age. Item is large and heavy.

2.5 oz. opened but unused full bottle. The red bottle is quite unusual too.

Claret coloured velvet with rosette detail on back. Note: last picture has been lightened to show some details. True colour is a rich, dark Claret Burgundy colours with lighter highlights dotted in the veil. Note: possible wear to veil.

1863 and 1867 volumes 1 and 2 of the History of the Civil War in America, while it was still going on and shortly afterwards! Fascinating engravings and historical maps in both. Both are in old and worn condition as shown.

A pair of Fendi Fan Di EDT Sprays, 2.5 oz, opened and some used from each, and two unused Tubes of Fendi Fan di bath and shower gel and body lotion

Initials and date in LL corner of this hand loomed homespun Ontario blanket made for a marriage in 1855 as part of the bride's trousseau or dowry. Central seam as typical of the period. Good condition appropriate to age. About 84 x 70 inches.

Size 36. Very light wear as visible in photos. Purchased at Inspired by You Boutique in Whitby and confirmed as authentic by the knowledgeable owner of the boutique.

In good condition with minimal wear as shown.

Skywriting by Word of Mouth, and Other Writings Including the Ballad of John and Yoko, is the third, and last, book written by John Lennon. It was published posthumously in 1986 and included an afterword by Lennon's widow, Yoko Ono. Like his other books, it contains miscellaneous writings and cartoons. This copy in good condition with light wear as shown.

These were strung onto an enormous chandelier in a hotel ballroom. Each pendant is about 6 inches long and weighs about 1/2 pound! They are all individually blown glass with a hole drilled at one end for hanging. There are 12 white and 20 brown drops. Possible small cracks in some.

With insert. About 10 inches wide with shoulder strap.

Circa 1900. A very hard to find example by silverware manufacturers Wm. A. Rogers. About 9 inches wide including handles . Minimal wear as shown.

From the rear the back of the hat is slightly eased. This was to accommodate a chignon or similar updo style of hair. Wear appropriate to age.

Early 60s pink and silver lame cloche.

Chocolate brown curly lamb with fur and rhinestone trim.

One bottle missing stopper. Unusual shaker about 3 inches tall with emerald green bubble glass. Pontil on the dark green bottle without stopper indicating blown glass.

The auctioneer at Stroud's in London thought this excavated English bottle might be Tudor or earlier, however seller is not sure. About 2 inches tall, old and obviously excavated (there are still some traces of dirt inside). Chips around mouth of bottle and bottom rim. See photos for details.

Some wear as shown to boards and spine, but overall in good condition especially considering it's a children's book over 100 years old!

As shown. Unsure is working as have no components but all the wires and plugs seem to be attached.

About 11 inches long. Heavy. Pontil marks on bottom.

The ear lappets (long pieces of netting that come down from the inside brim to wrap around the neck like a scarf) have become detached over the years but are easily sewn back on. Veiling may have some wear. Otherwise the hat is in good condition for its age.
