1978 Commemorative Commonwealth Games - Canadian Proof Silver Dollar (.500) – Brilliant Uncirculated. Marks the year the Commonwealth Games were held in Edmonton, Alberta. Encapsulated and in RCM mint box.

Very popular and collectible 25 cent FIFA 2014 coloured world coin (in original packaging with certificate and encapsulated), Royal Canadian Mint #128587 – like new & encapsulated. Also included is 1994 Remembrance proof dollar. All items in original packaging.

Large beautifully framed L’Orchestre print in floating gallery glass frame by Linda Le Kinff (b. 1949). LeKinff (born to French and Brazilian parents in Paris) is one of the few modern artists collected by the Louvre. She has studied with masters around the world in many different techniques. Framing alone would be well over $300. Size is 35”W x 42”H.

Group of seven master – Tom Thomson (1877 – 1917). Ready to frame already in acid free mat. Piece is titled Thunderhead and is sealed. Matted size is 16 x 16, image size is 9 x 8. Limited edition of 3700.

Beautiful heavy Christofle Silverplate tray with handles. Clearly stamped on handles. Stamp 1 – France, Stamp 2 – Prod. Christofle, Stamp 3 – Rooster over GALLIA (used from 1937), Stamp 4 – “O” on left & knight in center & “C” on right (used from 1935 to 1983). Engraved on bottom of tray reads: “Good Luck Mate from Down Under”. Some scratches on top and bottom of tray. Size 24” x 16”. Needs a good polish.

Lightning McQueen kids Heys luggage (some normal wear and scratches) - all zippers, handle, wheels and interior great shape. Tormentor Mater and Frightening McMean are battery operated talking cars (very lightly used – work perfectly, approx. 8 x 10 each). These are the large plastic version that when pushed talk and when pulled back – speed ahead. Great for the younger Lightning fans…

Very unique – for the serious beer collector (15 x 13) – came from a Kingston estate. Can easily be a vintage art piece (if mounted). Unlikely that many survived due to how extremely fragile this item is (appears to be a very thin pressed plastic). Considering the material – this one is in excellent condition – see photos for condition issues. The Iroquois Brewing Company was based in the Buffalo area and operated from 1892 to 1971.

One bowl usually retails for around $30+ at Rarely used (mostly stored). Discontinued pattern in 1991. Only able to see 1 chip on dinner plate (under rim – shown in photo) – could be a few more but unable to see/confirm any others. 2 beautiful original oil paintings by listed Canadian artist Andre Besse (1922 – 2004, French born). Son of painter Raymond Besse. Signed and titled on rear (Bords de la creuse – le pont du chateau AND Entrée de village dans la creuse). Frame size is 16” x 20”, image size is 12” x 16”.

J&G Meakin – England, the sol mark was used between 1918 and 1963. This is likely 1940s or thereabouts. No chips/marks visible on teapot, 4 cups or 4 saucers (extra 2 saucers also included). Crown Trent - Staffordshire, England - APRIL birthday cup and saucer (no chips or cracks noted). Also included, napkin rings, variety of napkins and bread basket liners, lovely glass rectangular plate, Portuguese made cup and decorative trinket box.

Group of seven master – AJ Casson (1893 – 1992). Comes with certificate of authenticity. Unframed piece is titled “Northern Farm”. Size of print 11 x 13. Rare small edition of 300 (this is #149) – comes with all stamps and COA (appraised at $650 in 1996).

Signed print in pencil by Boyer (Andre Boyer, b. 1909) also titled in pencil “ Dans la Vallee” – this is a Paris Etching society Print. Frame size is 14.5” x 13”, image size is 7” x 9”. Also, small print of street with horse carriage (approx. 3 x 4)– signed.

Well loved cars (over 25 items), Tonka, Lesney, Dinky. Also included, over the door hot wheels storage (for 50 cars) & one metal plane.

Ivory keys (all appear to be in great shape). Antique chair with glass ball claw feet – requires a small repair on wood panel, rest is in great shape. This item is located on main floor with only 2 wide steps on outside porch and ability to park on front pad for ease of loading). Music box plays Sleeping Beauty by Tchaikovsky. No Royal Winnipeg Ballet coin or certificate – box only. Jewish Theme lot - Very rare book "Jewish symbols in the Greco-Roman period", vol. 7 & 8 (Pagan Symbols in Judaism) by Goodenough. In slipcase. Excellent condition as books are still in paper wrapper in slipcase. Also included, 2 israeli coins (agora) and star of david prayer medallion (believed to be brass). – 4 items

Lot of religious books & items: Nicely Framed Madonna print (19 x 24), another Madonna with child high gloss plaque (7 1/2" x 9 1/4"). Bibles and other religious themed books (including a very tiny white bible). The oldest bible has a tattered spine (no date) but is inscribed (presumably as a gift) 1874 (from Mrs. Fiennes). There is also a 1904 book “The Bible in pictures” and “In the Upper Room” (1913). See pictures.

2 items. The red one has great support straps for hiking or longer distance trips. Both are in great shape – no rips or tears visible.

Abs roller exercise chair (new in box – not assembled).

28 Cutlery pieces (Retroneu 18/8, stainless, made in Korea – 7 knives, 7 forks, 7 dessert spoons, 7 dinner spoons), 4 gold knife rests have crystal ball ends – approx. 2” – very nice muti faceted rainbow like coloring, 2 larger cut glass/crystal rests are meant for serving pieces and typically sold individually (approx. 4” long).

1 book and 15 magazines (dates from 1937 to 1956). Titles include: Mechanix illustrated, Popular Mechanics, Popular Science, Science & Mechanics.

Believed to be Antique Steiff (no tags). From estate of an elderly German woman in GTA – adult niece told me they belonged to her aunt and they always believed them to be Steiff. No provenance and no certificates or tags. These are straw filled items and appear to be hand sewn at seams (have tried to show this on bear pictures). Tan bear is approx. 19” x 11”. Beautiful eyes on dog (perhaps handpainted – dog size is 15” when flat and 11” tall when standing, approx.. 6” wide). Tiny bear is 4” x 2”. All 3 pieces are jointed. REVIEW PICTURES – have tried to capture all of the damage spots (Bear – mostly pads, a tear on ear – dog is in excellent condition with a small tear/opening on tail).

2 NOMA Indoor/Outdoor 3 feet tall lighted pinecone trees (with square bases) – only used once at Christmastime indoors (were fully functional last time used). In original boxes.

Lot of delivery type cars (Lesney), 2 BP trucks and gas tanks, includes Vintage Hot Wheels super rally case. Over 25 items.

These are battery operated vintage vehicles (1 truck and 1 car) - not tested but battery compartment appears to be in good shape.

Embroidered Scotty Dog Tape Measure (likely antique). Excellent condition and pulls out/retracts very well. Made in Germany, West Zone. Height is approx. 1.5”. Check out figural tape measures on collector digests or eBay.

Limited printing “Farewell to Steam in Canada” by Nick Mika (1969 – Mika Studio Belleville). This book has 20 very fine raised color prints (hand screened relief prints). Either keep the book or remove prints for framing (see pictures but note that pictures don’t do the quality of these illustrations justice). Second book is hardcover “Railways of Canada – a Pictorial History” by Nick and Helma Mika (1972 - Canadian Heritage Library book).

Far side gallery, Tim Sharpe books, Charlie brown, Garfield and much more. Also included is a vintage snoopy bank (1970) with original black stopper on underside.

Custom made green sectional leather couch (comes apart into 2 pieces) – purchased new for $5000 from Choice Leather. High quality leather, solid wood frame, Canadian. Overall couch size: 10’L x 28”H x 3’D (on one end) and 5’D (on other end). 1st piece is 5.5’L x 3’D x 28”H, 2nd piece is 4.5’L x 5’D x 28”H. On main floor.

Beautiful, great condition - Antique Taylor – Forbes Iron, Guelph Canada. Company was in business from 1902 – 1955. This item would have been made early in their operation – likely Antique – definitely OLD VINTAGE. The handle detaches from the iron bottom (#2) so it could have been heated. Approx. 6”L x 3”W x 5” (with handle attached).

No info on maker. Likely mid century as they belonged to a great aunt (could be earlier). Beautiful deep patterning on the lidded dishes – tiny chips (no cracks) visible under magnifying lense. Sherbert/Compote cups and saucers are very thin – seem to have a nice ring but can’t be sure. There are 8 cups and 11 saucers (2-3 cups have small chips)

15 items - Beautiful Various folio books all in slipcases including 7 individual books by Anthony Trollope. Great colors – beautiful for décor or collectors as many appear to have never been removed from slipcase or read.

Very desirable/collectible Great Tapestries book (printed in 1965, Switzerland) – these have great removeable mini lithos that can be framed (dust cover has a small slit on dust jacket). Also included in lot: Frameable Van Gogh and Murillo prints, 5 vintage books with color illustrations (approx. 20 color & 40 black & white of victorian era, which can be framed)

2 girl guide rag dolls and 1 brownie rag doll (believed to be Canadian version dolls), 1 has 10th Barrie Guide co. All three of the dolls have their scarves and 2 have berets (very rare to find with full uniform/hats). Also included 1 small teddy bear, 2 plastic dolls and various clothing (for larger dolls)
