These were made in Japan in the 1970's and are really pretty with pink poppy decoration. Most pieces have little to no wear but there are some with worn decor from daily use (this is a practical set for daily use as its a thicker ironstone type porcelain). In great working order this medical task lamp is very bright and fully movable into any position. There is a hairline crack in the interior glass shade, but it works fine and damage is not noticeable at all. Very bright, as you can see. Some dings in metal of shade, see pics.
